It is almost time for the end of Mr. Popper's Penguins. We have been slow going through it but it has been so much fun and there are still a few things in the line up before we close... We did a little experimenting today to see if an egg would float in water... well, it does if you add 7 tsp. of salt to the glass! How cool is that?
We also put an egg in vinegar for overnight and we will let you know how that turns out tomorrow! Right now, it is foaming at the top and to keep it submerged we put a spoon on top of it because vinegar made this egg float too!
It was such a beautiful day...
the kind of day that makes you want to paint your toes, fingers and whatever else you can...
For a little entertaining tonight, we sat down for a little wholesome meal of SUSHI! I saw this here and she does such cute things! So we each got in the groove and feel that a bigger fish definitely makes a better bite!
Isn't it amazing the attention that a little thing like this gets?
Such concentration!
What technique!
And as always service with a smile!
It is such a simple recipe of rice crispy treats, gummy fish or sharks and a green fruit roll up for the seaweed!
Sayonara! Itterassyai kiotukete!
What a cute idea! I'm signed up to take rice krispie treats to the pool next Thursday night. They might just be getting sushi instead! TFS
